Christmas Morning 2007

This morning I looked at the weather page on the internet. The posting there said, Seattle had a 7% chance of snow on Christmas Morning. Well it snowed here in West Seattle. The first white Christmas in years. I took my dogs Abbie and Princess to the park at High Point and ran them out. I'm lucky to have great dogs.

Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel Closed

The Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel will remain closed for the remainder of the day, Wednesday 12/19, due to ongoing computer problems. Please check the Metro Online website for details regarding tomorrow's commute. Tunnel buses are operating via the downtown surface streets and stops that they use when the tunnel is closed (scroll down to "Bus Routes That Operate In the Tunnel"). Metro street teams will be available near tunnel entrances this afternoon to direct passengers to the nearest bus stops for tunnel routes.Visit Metro Online for updates. Also, check the Regional Public Information Network (RPIN) for new information as it becomes available.Metro appreciates your patience during this closure.
